Restaurant-Bar Our restaurant and bar opened for service on December 2004. Our menu is focused on Mexican specialties and Mayan delicacies. We have a tortilla maker in the evenings for fresh, handmade tortillas, sopes, and tostadas.
Breakfast (7:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.) Enjoy traditional Mexican breakfasts, including huevos rancheros, sopes, molletes, and more. Fresh fruit salads, vegetarian sopes, and fruit crepes are just some of the vegetarian choices. Freshly squeezed orange juice and other fruit blends are available.
Lunch (11:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.) Salads, sandwiches, fajitas, and Mexican grilled specialties are available in the afternoon, including a variety of fresh ceviches, shrimp cocktail, and shrimp kabobs. Vegetarian options include salads, tortilla soup, fajitas, avocado stuffed with nopales, etc.
Dinner (6:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m.) Enjoy a variety of Mexican specialties including nopales, ceviches, tacos, and tostadas, all served with handmade tortillas. We have a wide variety of vegetarian, fish, and shellfish options. Choose from our different fresh salsas to get your mouth blazing. This is all traditional Mexican food, no Tex-Mex on the menu!
Room service will be available upon request, should you prefer to dine in on your seaside patio or balcony to enjoy the sea breeze. Please sign up for breakfast service before 10:00 p.m. the night before, and please request dinner service before 5:00 p.m. the same day.
Free Morning Yoga Classes All Nohoch Tunich guests are welcome to join the Cabanas Copal yoga classes each morning at 8:00 a.m. free of charge.
Temazcal The Copal sweat lodge is based on traditional healing methods used by indigenous Mexicans in which the properties of fire and water are combined to purify the mind, body, and soul.

Chamber of Flotation The Copal dry flotation tank, nestled in the middle of the jungle, creates an optimal environment for lucid dreaming, meditation, relaxation, stress relief, and more. Please sign up in Reception so we can make the appointment for your float.

Cenotes These natural freshwater pools with underwater caves and caverns are unique to the peninsula and make for a great place to swim, snorkel, or scuba dive.
Scuba diving Both open water sea diving as well as cavern and cave diving can be experienced with our scuba tours. Snorkeling gear may be rented at the hotel. if you want to check out reef on your own.
Tours Ask once you arrive to see which tours are currently available, depending on season and weather conditions. There is usually wide variety of options available, including all-day jungle tours, snorkeling/scuba tours, archaeological sites, etc.

Because there is no electricity or telephones on the Tulum beach, we cannot accept credit cards. Please plan in advance for your expenses, taking this into consideration: you may want to bring ATM cards, travelers checks in USD, or cash in USD or Mexican pesos. As an added convenience, you can pre-purchase Copal Cash prior to your arrival, for use at the Copal holistic spa and restaurant down the road, or at our restaurant.
