At the Cabins Retiro Maya, you can join in many different types of healing and growing workshops that are given during different times of the year. Cabanas Retiro Maya has a special service for spiritually expanding groups and for guests to the Mayan weddings. Our restaurant has capacity for 40 people and can adapt to celebrate any special event, in the privacy and tranquility of the virgin beaches of the Riviera Maya.

Let us pamper you so you can fully concentrate in guiding your group. We have an all inclusive vegetarian plan where we cater for you all three meals and a coffee break. We can also organize all your sight seeing tours and even a 'Temazcal bath' (Mayan sweat lodge).

Cabanas Retiro Maya offers you a beautiful meditation room (30 by 24 feet) completely screened and with a beautiful ocean view. Here you can hold a yoga retreat or any other type of group that you require. We have eleven double cabanas and five quadruples. Six of our double cabanas and three of our quadruples have private bathrooms all the others shared ones. They are very clean and all our showers have plenty of hot water. We offer daily maid service.

Our objective is that Retiro Maya retains its natural and ecological flavor, therefore we do not have electricity, we depend solely on candles and stars!

In a special service to lovers Cabanas Retiro Maya can organize for you, a real Mayan ceremony where a Mayan Shaman will head a ceremony in which the bride and the groom personally prepare and offer their vows to each other through the natural elements.

This ceremony can be followed by the civil marriage that can be held right at the beach.

To continue the celebration we can organize the party, as simple or as fancy as you require. Anywhere from two to one hundred people. Your favorite menu, live or disco music, and anything else to make your very special evening a most successful one.

When the party is over, you can enjoy our special 'honeymoon suite', specially prepared for the newly weds with champagne, flowers, candles. We take care of all the details. Without a doubt a Mayan wedding is one of the most beautiful ones of this millenary culture. Held in a remote beach, followed by a perfect honeymoon, filled with water activities, and blesses by the remnants of a culture that has not disappeared.
