Xpu-Ha Beach is located just 15 miles (25 km) south of Playa del Carmen on the Riviera Maya and 50 miles (80 km) south from the Cancun International Airport.

Our Mayan ancestors named this beach Xpu-Ha meaning “morning dew” for it’s great beauty and luscious and spectacular vegetation. The clear azure waters of the Mexican Caribbean, the white sandy beaches, the coconut palms and the thatch roof palapas have been combined to make Al Cielo Hotel a privileged and unique place for it’s natural beauty.

Al Cielo Restaurant is located right next to our hotel. The dining room is a large thatch roof palapa set on the beach with stunning views of the Caribbean Sea. Our aim is to present at your table fresh seafood, fish and shellfish, as we seek for excellence in local and international dishes.

Here is where you will be able to taste and enjoy our exquisite fish and shellfish dishes prepared by Francisco Morales (Paco) who is a renowned chef in the Riviera Maya. Paco was trained and practiced some of his wonderful cooking skills in Spain and around the world.

The restaurant is available for weddings, special events and catering year round.
