A good spot for a quick and simple lunch is the Que Tal Cafeteria, located next to the Casi Todo Bookstore. Deli sandwiches, fresh fruit frescos and home backed cookies will be found here. Open for breakfast and lunch. They close around 4:00 p.m.

Restaurants in French Harbour

Gio's. Famous for its specialty: the king crab. Open from 10:00 a.m. till 10:00 p.m. It offers two different atmospheres, a room with a view of the harbour and an over water deck right on the harbour. Menu also includes seafood and steaks. Excellent service and full international bar.
Romeo's. Excellent seafood and Italian specialties. Located at Casa Romeo's hotel, with an air-conditioned room as well as an open air deck over the water. Full international bar and open for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
French Harbour Yacht Club. One of the favorite hang outs for both locals and tourists. Lovely views. The only yacht club and most complete marina in Roatan, you often meet jet setters who have just docked their yachts at the marina. The restaurant offers moderate prices, an international menu and the best pizza in town. Full bar service and excellent service.
Rita's Steak House. Located at the Buccaneer Hotel, they offer a variety of steaks and seafood. Cozy setting with a great view of the Caribbean.

Restaurants in the Oakridge/Punta Gorda area.

The Reef House and Henry's Cove Hotels offer good dining on a regular basis.
Bens Dive Resort has a good restaurant that is open daily from 7:00 am till 10:00 p.m. and offers great seafood as well as Garifuna Specialties. Every Saturday at 7:00 p.m. there is a live Garifuna show featuring Punta dancing at Bens Dive Shop.
The Chicken Shack offers lunch and dinner and serves beer and soft drinks. Yes you guessed, their specialty is Chicken.
Hello Hello Restaurant also in Punta Gorda is an inexpensive comedor with typical foods. Open for lunch and dinner. Beer and booze served.

Restaurants in Sandy Bay

Rick's American Cafe. A truly interesting place, located several stories above the parking level entrance, the flight of steps will be rewarded by a spectacular setting and view. The best steaks and hamburgers in Roatan can be found here, as well as an international menu. Happy hour from 5 to 6 in the evening. Open daily from noon till 9:30 p.m. Bar remains open till 11:30 p.m. Satellite dish and TV offers major sporting events regularly.
Oceanside Inn. One of the best places in Roatan for seafood. Cozy, intimate atmosphere on deck overlooking Anthony's Key Resort and Baileys Key. Definitely recommended.
Anthony's Key Resort. The restaurant at the deck in front of the Roatan Museum in Anthony's Key Resort is open Thursday through Tuesday, and offers hamburgers as well as island cuisine. From here, you can enjoy the dolphin shows provided by the Institute of Marine Sciences at the resort.

Tropico Italiano. Located on the highway just before arriving to West End, Tropico Italiano offers true Italian cuisine, prepared with Italian ingredients by an Italian. Different menus every day. Open daily . Lovely views from this mountain top setting. Walking distance from West End.
Salt $ Pepper. For a true gourmet experience, have dinner at Salt $ Pepper, where Chef Paul Cleveland and his staff will prepare dinner while you enjoy a tropical atmosphere . Open Monday through Saturday for breakfast (7:00 a.m. till 10:0 a.m.) and daily for dinner ( 6:00 p.m. till 9:30 p.m.). Menu features different specialties from around the world every day. Salt $ Pepper is located a few feet from the road, opposite of the beach. Keep an eye out for their sign or ask anyone for their location.
Rudy's. Located at Georphy's Tropical hideaway hotel, across the road from the beach. Opens at 6:30 a.m. for breakfast and during the day offers typical island cuisine. Posibly the best breakfast in West End!
Bamboo Hut. Daily breakfast and dinner service. Moderate prices, and air-conditioned as well as open air deck ambiance for your selection. Evening movies shown nightly. Full bar service.
Coconut Tree. Located at the Coconut Tree Hotel, at the entrance to West End. Open from 7:00 a.m. daily. Only restaurant in West End with Satellite dish and TV showing sporting events. Full bar service.
Chino's Bar and Restaurant. One of the more popular bars and restaurants on the beach in West End. Good food, great booze and the beach draw a truly international crowd regularly. Wednesday nights Mexican Madness party. Open till late every night. English spoken. Moderate prices.
Fosters.One of the most famous places in Roatan, Offers truly spectacular sunsets from its deck over the water. Very popular with both locals and tourists. This restaurant bar is now managed by a group of Italians, and offers good service. Open daily from 10:00 a.m. till past midnight.
Half Moon Bay Cabins.Located at the Half Moon Bay Cabins, this restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner on a daily basis. Full international bar service and a continental cuisine. with service available on a deck over the beach.
Lo Sfizio.Italian restaurant featuring Pizza. Open Monday through Saturday from 7:00 am to 12:30 p.m. and from 6:00 p.m. till 10:00 p.m. Home made pastas and fresh baked bread. Only soft drinks, beer and wine served. Spanish, English and Italian spoken.
Seaview.Open 9:00 a.m. till 10:00 p.m. Closed Tuesdays. Menu includes lobster, fish, beef, pork and chicken dishes. Open air deck facing the beach. Beer, soft drinks and mixed drinks served.
