This almost perfect cone,
which soars 1,633 meters above sea level,
has a crater 140 meters
deep formed over an ancient colder.It dates back to 3-
2 million years ago.
On 29th July
1968, it ceased to be dormant and began
a new stage of eruptions
that has lasted to the present day.
